Gardai make €60k drug seizure in Cork

GARDAI in Cork have seized €60,000 worth of drugs.

Gardai from Midleton carried out a planned search of a house at Ballycotton yesterday at around 3.30pm.

During the search cannabis herb was seized with an estimated street value of €60,000.

A man in his 40s was arrested and is currently detained at Midleton Garda Station under the provisions of Section  4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
