Robbie and Claudine Keane enjoyed a pre-Thanksgiving family day out in Los Angeles.

The Irish record goal scorer, who is also signed to LA Galaxy, was spotted leaving their favourite restaurant at The Grove in West Hollywood with wife Claudine and their son Robert Jr (five).

The couple, who have been married for six years, divide their time between Dublin and California, where Robbie Jr is in school.

And Claudine opted for a more pared-down look in a pair of skinny jeans, lace bomber jacket, black ankle boots and her trademark quilted Chanel bag while smiling for photographers outside the eatery.

The Keanes enjoyed a pre-Thanksgiving day out and will likely spend the national holiday with friends of the family and have spent the holiday with Robbie's teammates in previous years.

When they first moved over in 2011, the trio dined with The Beckhams before they moved back to London.

While Claudine has admitted she's a homebird at heart, she's determined to settle in The Golden State for the sake of her son.

"I like living in LA, but I like knowing that I can come home and that home is always there," she said. .

"Because if someone told me I was going to be there for two years non-stop, I would probably had a breakdown.

"I love it because I know I can come back and see my family.

"It is a lovely place to live and bring up your kids and you have the weather, and the beaches. But, you know, I also like a happy medium and getting home."
