Ana Ivanovic takes court ahead of IPTL


Ana Ivanovic took to the practice court on Thursday ahead of the International Premiere Tennis League at Mall of Asia Arena, which runs from Friday to Sunday.
 
The fifth-ranked women's player in the world, Ivanovic will see action under the banner of the Micromax Indian Aces.
 
Ivanovic arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday night for the event.

Former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, meanwhile, also arrived in the Philippines on Thursday. Murray is part of the Manila Mavericks squad, which is captained by top Filipino player Treat Huey.
 
"Playing in Manila will be fun. The fans there don’t get to see a lot of live tennis, so that will be good," he said before flying to Manila.
 
 
Top stars Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams are also expected to see action in the event are Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams.
 
After the Manila leg, the teams will proceed to Singapore (December 2-4), India (December 6-8) before finishing the tour in UAE (December 11-13). The winning team will take home the $1 million pot. — JST, GMA News
