NEW DELHI, INDIA: Micromax Informatics Limited has announced a strategic collaboration with Intel in India aimed at offering a bouquet of mobile devices to the Indian consumer. New Canvas Tab P666 is the first device in Micromax-Intel collaboration.

The Canvas Tab P666 is the first Intel powered tablet to be assembled in India by Micromax and is one significant step in the direction of realizing the government’s ‘Make in India’ vision.’

Powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Processor Z2520 with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, allows the stream of instructions to be split up and processed simultaneously by different cores, making it possible to utilize more cores to complete the task, saving battery life.

Running on latest Android 4.4 KitKat, the 3G enabled Canvas Tab P666 comes with an expandable memory of up to 32GB relieving users of all the storage woes. Equipped with an 8-inch WXGA IPS display with a resolution of 800x1280, the tablet offers a dynamic contrast and color vibrancy with an immersive graphic quality ensuring a smoother UI and a faster refresh rate. Users can capture all their favorite moments in just a click with a 5MP rear camera and at same time fulfil their selfie needs with a 2MP front camera.

Available in black and White colors, the tablet also offers a powerful back up with a 4400 mAh battery. The tablet is priced at Rs. 10,999 will be available in online and offline stores from November 29.
