AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd made a bewildering appearance at court in New Zealand, turning up late to face charges of drug possession and threatening to kill before drumming on the dock and leaping onto his bodyguard's back.

The judge initially threatened to issue an arrest warrant after Rudd failed to appear at 9am.
