This year’s Rishikul Sanatan College’s outstanding student, Vishal Prasad, says having the right attitude was the reason for his success.

“Students must have the determination that they want to be the best, that they really want to achieve something,” Vishal said during the school’s prizegiving ceremony on Tuesday.

The Year 13 science student said it was also important that students enjoyed going to school.

“If a student dreads going to school or the school that he or she attends, it will impact the study of that student,” Vishal said.

He felt he had really enjoyed his time at the school and felt that he has made a really big achievement.

“I’m really happy and more so that I’ve made my parents proud,” he said.
