‘Tellywood Night’ attracts viewers

Lucknow: Compared to the inaugural day when Grammy award winner Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt performed to an empty pandal, the second day of the cultural evening of Lucknow Mahotsava titled Tellywood night saw fairly good attendance.
Performing on popular film numbers, television artistes including Shilpa Rao, Sayantani Ghosh and Ekta Kaul enthralled the audience.
“Shilpa Rao’s exciting performance infused life into the mahotsava,” said mela visitor Soumya who along with her friends enjoyed the musical night thoroughly.
“Starting with the melodious song ‘Aaj ki raat hona hai kya’ Sayantani and Ekta set the fire on stage with the latest fast Hindi film numbers,” she added.
