Aamir Ali got a few days off from the shoot of his show F.I.R., and he decided to head to Delhi to meet his friends and enjoy the city’s winters. While he was here, he also visited the Nizamuddin Dargah to pay obeisance. “Even during my flying days (the actor worked as a cabin crew member with an airline), when I stayed in Delhi for three months, I never visited the dargah.
So, this time, my friend, who lives in Delhi, decided to take me there.
It was a beautiful experience and I was told that the dargah is almost 700-800 years old,” he said. Aamir also revealed that he is planning to come back to the shrine next month. “The only thing I missed was the qawwali. So, I have been told by the priest that they will call me when they get some qawwals to perform at the dargah,” he added. Aamir, who visits the city regularly, told us that he expected it to be colder than it is. “I love the city’s winters and I am a little upset that it is not very cold. I carried a lot of woollen clothes but I haven’t got an opportunity to wear them this time,” he said.
