It’s Kanye West’s world, we’re just living in it.
The outspoken rapper unapologetically delayed a 7:35 a.m. Finnair flight from Paris to Helsinki on Tuesday, a spy tells Page Six.
“The whole flight was waiting on one of those buses that ferries passengers from the gate to the plane. Kanye and his assistant boarded in a huff,” our source says. “The assistant sprinted to the bus from the gate with all of the travel documents, while Kanye walked casually behind him. They did not apologize for keeping everyone.”
Once West, 37, finally arrived at the aircraft and boarded, he took his seat in first class. As coach class boarded, a European couple asked the 21-time Grammy Award winner for a photo but Mr. Kim Kardashian refused.
“He initially seemed to say yes, but then pointed at the line of passengers behind them waiting to board and declined … mostly through hand gestures. He was almost mute. He was not talkative at all,” our source adds.
But soon after, an American couple seemed to have better luck approaching North West’s dad.
“When another couple passed his seat, the man said, ‘Hi Mr. West,’ causing Kanye to look up. The man continued, ‘I really liked your album, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” — I mean, “College Dropout.” It gave me confidence in college,'” our spy recalls. “When the fan offered a fist bump, Kanye paused briefly before returning the bump and telling him, ‘Thanks.'”
After the exchange, West focused on his laptop, which displayed nearly nude photographs of a woman with long, dark hair. Though it’s unclear whether he was ogling his wife, we can only hope this means another revealing photo spread of the buxom reality star is in the works.
(Despite it all, the rapper managed to get some shut-eye on the early morning flight.)
A rep for West did not immediately return a request for comment.
