VADODARA: M S University’s syndicate members will clear a number of appointments during their meeting scheduled on Thursday.
The members will clear appointments of principals of Baroda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya and university’s Polytechnic College.
Apart from the appointments of two principals, the members will also clear appointment of head of department (HoD) at the Department of Social Work.

During the meeting, the syndicate members will clear proposals to approve minutes of the meeting of building committee, press supervisory committee, purchase committee, finance and establishment committee apart from advisory committee of the experimental school.
Promotions to the post of professors under career advancement scheme at the departments of instrumental music, library science and history will also be cleared during the meeting.
The members will clear proposal to award of research grant - Raja Rammana Research Fellowship - to professor B B Chattoo at the university’s Genome Research Centre.
Also, minutes of the faculty board meeting of Faculty of Law, proposal for setting up a Corporate Relationship Cell at the university have been placed before the syndicate members for their nod.
The members will also consider proposal of instituting new posts of associate principal designer and principal designer at the Maharaja Ranjitsinh Gaekwad Institute of Design of Faculty of Fine Arts.
