    Micromax names Amarinder S Dhaliwal as COO to lead unit YU

    NEW DELHI: Micromax Informatics on Wednesday appointed Amarinder S Dhaliwal, former co-founder and chief executive of Donebynone.com, as the Chief Operating Officer for its new Internet brand, YU.
    Dhaliwal will work closely with Rahul Sharma, co-founder Micromax, to build an innovative digital brand that engages directly with the user community, the company said in a statement.

    "He (Dhaliwal) will be leading marketing initiatives for building the brand with a community of highly engaged users, driving revenue from product and services and setting-up world class internet operations," Sharma said.
