Vodafone launches 40 p/min STD offer in Delhi NCR

NEW DELHI: The Indian unit of UK-based telecom major Vodafone has launched a special STD offer for Delhi NCR pre-paid subscribers.

The offer, introduced on November 25, allows Vodafone pre-paid customers to dial *121# to make STD calls at 40 paisa per minute to anywhere in the country, the company said.

“This offer is specifically for Vodafone Delhi NCR customers and they can make STD calls to any operator both mobile and landline,” the telco told ET.

Vodafone India believes that Delhi has an influx of more than 40% of migrant population, and said that they are looking at similar ways to reduce STD tariff for their subscribers.

“For post-paid we have recently launched RED plans which offered a bouquet discounted voice, data and SMS benefits. With Red Plans, we will continue to offer best in class tariffs for our customers,” it added.
