The recently concluded top-rating teleserye “Hawak Kamay” drew a huge ratings during its finale episode last Friday, November 21, 2014, according to the latest results released by Kantar Media. The program became No. 1 across the country getting it’s highest ratings at 33.3% audience share.
The series “Hawak Kamay” which features veteran Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual, became the most watched programs for the day in both urban and rural areas according to Kantar Media.
Kantar Media also noted that ABS-CBN dominated the nationwide ratings on Friday, trailing behind “Hawak Kamay” were Primetime Bida offerings of the Kapamilya Channel such as “Forevermore (29.9%); “TV Patrol” (28.3%); “Bagito” (26.8%), and “Two Wives” (23%).
The agency who recorded the ratings of various TV programs across the country also stated that the viewership of “Hawak Kamay” greatly improved as it neared its finale episode. The audience share of the TV series increased dramatically for the past months.
Last October, the average of “Hawak Kamay” was recorded at 28.3% in National TV ratings. The series Hawak Kamay debuted last 21, 2014 featuring Piolo Pascual, Iza Calzado, Andrea Brillantes, Zaijan Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat and Yesha Camille.
During the finale episode of the top-rating series, a cancer-stricken Gin (Piolo Pascual) had a glimpse of “heaven” before being given another chance at life to be a father to his children and husband to Bianca portrayed by Iza Calzado.
