Cape Town - Dutch international midfielder Wesley Sneijder is seeking answers after being dropped for Galatasaray's crunch match against Trabzonspor.
Consistently linked with Manchester United for the past few seasons, Sneijder is not happy about the decision to drop him according to the Daily Star.
"I do not know why he was sitting on the bench." Sneijder's agent told Bugun TV.
"We'll have talks with the board on Wednesday in Brussels. We're going to speak about Wesley and we'll discuss this important event.
"I really do not know why he did not start in the team.
"Sneijder wants to stay, but he continues to sit on the bench. Nobody wants to sit on the bench."
Reports indicate that Louis van Gaal will continue to monitor the attacking midfielder's situation in Turkey.
Showdown talks are expected with Galatasaray manager Cesare Prandelli.
