Suved Parkar loves to open. The 14-year-old opens both batting and bowling for Swami Vivekananda (Borivli), and he does it with some style. He showed his all-round prowess against Gundecha Education (Kandivli) in their Harris Shield tie at Shivaji Park, Dadar on Tuesday, scalping five wickets for nine runs and then smashing an unbeaten 209 of just 195 balls.

"The 200 means more than the five wickets. We've got two more days of play remaining and if my teammates at the other end support me I could go even higher. We can declare after I hit my 300," said Parkar who has been included in the list of probables in the Mumbai U-14 side.

Vivekananda won the toss and chose to bowl. Parkar's five for nine saw the Kandivli side being bundled out for a paltry 26 runs in 17 overs. "When it comes to my bowling. I stick to the line just outside the off stump with the ball swinging in. The batsman has no choice but to play a shot," said the right handed batsman.

Vivekananda suffered an early set back as the first wicket fell for eight runs but by the time the second wicket fell, Vivekananda had posted 220 runs on the board. Parkar and and Karan Shah posting a 212 run partnership for the second wicket. While Shah got out for 92, Shah struck another 100 run partnership with Aman Sharma as the Borivli side ended the day at 362 for two wickets.
