MANGALURU: Ainapura in Chincholi taluk of Gulbarga district recorded maximum rainfall of 3mm in Karnataka in the last 24-hours up to 8.30am on November 25. Mavinakurvei hobli in Honnavar taluk of Uttara Kannada district recorded maximum temperature of 38.5°C on November 24 at 2pm. Halburga in Bhalki taluk of Bidar district recorded lowest minimum temperature of 7.6°C at 6.30pm on November 25.
Both maximum and minimum temperature changed little over the state. More than 90% relative humidity has been recorded in 48% geographical area in the state. Less than 25% of relative humidity has been recorded in 5% geographical area in the state. Rainfall over the state is considered as negligible. Very light rain was recorded in 18 gram panchayats; and no rain in remaining 1,924 GPs.
Karnataka for period from November 19 to November 25 recorded deficit rainfall of 92%. Against normal weighted average rainfall of 7.7mm in south-interior, north-interior, malnad and coastal parts, state recorded rainfall of 0.6mm.
