Ansar rally to drub Eleven Star in NDFA Football League

NAGPUR: Ansar Club rallied back splendidly to trounce Eleven Star 3-1 in the Meghe NDFA Super Division Football League match at the Ajni Railway ground on Monday.
In an interesting Super Six outing, Eleven Star opened the account in the 20th minute through Mohd Faizan.
However, their joy was short-lived as only five minutes later Ansar Club drew parity thanks to a superb goal by Shakeel Malik.
After the change of ends, Ansar attacked vigorously which resulted in two goals for them.
Kashif Imran found the back of the net in the 55th minute, while Zeeshan Ansari swelled the tally in the 64th minute.
In the 90th minute, a scuffle broke out between Ansar’s Zeeshan Ansari and Mohd Saleem of Eleven Star. Both the culprits were shown red card by the referee.
On Tuesday, New Globe Club will take on Qidwai Club at 2.45 pm at the Anji ground.
