Andrei Hajdukou detained for handing out leaflets again

An activist of the organizing committee for creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy, Andrei Hajdukou, was detained in Polatsk on November 24.

As charter97.org was informed by the press-service of the BCD, Hajdukou was handing out leaflets with information about political prisoners.

Hajdukou is charged with organizing an unsanctioned picket. Leaflets are confiscated.

A young man, who was making pictures of Hajdukou’s handing out leaflets, was detained as well.

We remind that the former political prisoner Andrei Hajdukou was previously arrested for handing out leaflets on November 21 in Navapolatsk. Then he was also taken to the police department, where a report was drawn up for organizing and holding an unsanctioned mass rally (Part 1 Article 23.34 of the Administrative Offense Code).
