Mumbai came back into the contest with a win in the mixed doubles match, after Alize Cornet and Tommy Robredo won 6-4, after being 1-4 down at one point.

Jelena Jankovic won the women's singles match overcoming Alize Cornet 6-5 in a closely-fought contest.

In the doubles match, a gritty performance from Sriram Balaji and Tommy Robredo enabled Mumbai to win 6-5.

Kevin Anderson raced to a 4-0 lead in the men's singles match against Robredo and comfortably won the contest 6-1 to hand the tie to Delhi, thus enabling their passage to the final of the inaugural tournament.

Meanwhile, the Pune Marathas beat Bangalore Raptors 26-20 in their CTL match to keep their aspirations of entering the final of the inaugural tournament intact.

In the legends singles match, Thomas Enqvist put Bangalore ahead by beating Pat Cash 6-3.

But, Pune quickly bounced back from the opening match defeat, to win the mixed doubles encounter. Marcos Baghdatis and Agnieszka Radwanska comfortably beat Feliciano Lopez and Venus Williams 6-3 to restore parity.

They then took the lead when Radwanska outplayed Venus 6-3 in the women's singles.

Raptors made the tie interesting when Ramkumar Ramanathan and Lopez won the men's doubles 6-5.

Lopez needed to win the men's singles match for Raptors to have a chance of negating the lead but Baghdatis proved too good for the Spaniard. Baghdatis won 6-2 to secure the tie for Pune.
