Swallows not eying Kaindu

Cape Town - Moroka Swallows CEO Leon Prins has rubbished claims that the club are set to name Triangle United's Kelvin Kaindu as their new head coach.

Reports over the weekend suggested the Dube Birds were on the verge of naming the Zambian as their new tactician, leaving caretaker boss Fani Madida's role with the Soweto giants hanging in the balance.

Prins has been quick to play down such talk, and underlined Swallows' faith in Madida, who took over from Zeca Marques in October.

"That article is not true. That is nonsense," Prins told Kick Off in response to questions about the proposed arrival of Kaindu, who currently plies his trade in the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League with Triangle.

"Let me make it clear, once again, that we are not talking to any coaches at the moment. We are solidly behind Fani and we believe he has the ability to lead the club back to winning ways."
