When Jeethu Joseph approached her to play Mohanlal’s daughter in Drishyam, Nivetha Thomas could not sign the film, which later turned out to be one of the biggest hits in Mollywood.
However, Jeethu did not chuck the idea of casting Nivetha in his movie and as the crew planned its Tamil version, the director’s call reached the young actress again. The State Award winner got to share screen space with Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan in the film and in a recent chat with a newspaper, she said that he gave her great acting tips and the time spent on the movie's set was quite memorable.
