Neha Marda's dedication to rehearse scenes lands her in a fix

Neha Marda, who plays Urmi in Zee TV’s popular drama Doli Armaanon Ki, is known to be a thorough professional and ensures she rehearses her important scenes before the shot. Recently while shooting a sequence where Urmi gets stuck in a lift, Neha decided to rehearse it. When the lift reached a certain floor as per the actual scene, much to her dismay the rehearsal turned into reality.

The sequence being shot was one where a pregnant Urmi, gets stuck in the lift of a building and panics. Neha entered the lift rehearsing her lines but just when the lift was about to reach the floor she was supposed to get off at, it got stuck. Neha panicked and immediately started to call out for help. The entire production team immediately got into action and began efforts to get her out of the stuck elevator. But it was a good ten minutes before the production controller eventually managed it!
While the crew thought that she might take time to recover from the shock, to everybody’s surprise, Neha bounced back within seconds and expressed the desire to shoot the scene as she felt her current claustrophobic condition would help get the required expressions for the scene. Neha gave a perfect shot in the very first take and had the crew applauding for her courage. The girl’s definitely got nerves of steel to use a real life complication to her advantage and deliver the best shot!
