Dhanush takes director Anand L Rai by surprise

Dhanush���s soft corner for Anand L Rai, the director of his Bollywood debut Raanj-hanaa, is quite well-known. The two share a warm bond and therefore it came as no surprise when we learnt that the actor went the extra mile (quite literally), to surprise his friend Anand L Rai.
Dhanush, we hear, flew all the way from Goa to Delhi to surprise Anand, who is currently filming Tanu weds Manu 2, with Madhavan and Kangana.The scriptwriter of the film, it is learnt, was an integral part of the surprise. Talking to Chennai Times, Himanshu Sharma, the scriptwriter of the film says, ���I have known Dhanush ever since we worked together in Raanjhanaa, and we share a close friendship. His bond with Anand too is well-known. A few days ago, Dhanush called me and informed me that he was in Goa and would like to come to Delhi to surprise Anand. So, I was the one who picked him up at the airport and took him to the hotel at a time when Anand had gone out. When he came back, he was quite taken aback to see Dhanush. The next day, Dhanush came to the place where we were shooting and spent the day with us. It was a sweet gesture on his part.���
Ask him if the actor will indeed play a cameo in the film and Himanshu evasively states, ���The film is slated to release only in June next year. There is plenty of time to decide whether or not Dhanush will play a cameo in the film. All I can say is that this recent visit to Delhi did not involve him shooting a cameo appearance.���
