The audio launch function of forthcoming Tamil movie "Kappal" served as a good platform for Vikram and Vijay to open up on their friendship.
Speaking at the audio launch function, both Vijay and Vikram praised each other and declared that they are good friends. Ilayathalapathy revealed that Chiyaan is a close friend of his and that their families caught up with each other on a regular basis.
Vikram too admitted that he is a big fan of Vijay and loves his work and enjoys dancing to the songs from the "Kaththi" actor's films.
The "Anniyan" actor made a humorous comment when he claimed that they love to gossip about the industry when they meet."Yes, both our families are close. We visit each other and when we do meet, we don't meet as actors, but discuss several other things as friends. We indulge in gossip," the Times of India quoted Vikram as saying.
Vikram and Vijay share a warm relationship and they respect each other's work. It may be recalled that the latter had recently claimed that he respects the former for his dedication and the hard work that he puts in for his roles.
While Vikram is presently busy with his next movie with Vijay Milton of "Goli Soda" fame and awaits the release of his next movie "I", Vijay, after the success of "Kaththi", has now started Chimbudevan's fantasy adventure.
However, at the same event, Shankar thanked both the actors for gracing the music launch of "Kappal". He also thanked Oscar Award winning musician AR Rahman for being a part of the event, even though he was busy with other commitments.
