Zarina Wahab: I want to spend time in Lucknow

Popular actor Zarina Wahab, who was in the city recently for a promotional event, disclosed her fondness for Lucknow. “I always love to come to Lucknow, But rarely do I get an opportunity to plan a trip here. This is my second visit and this time too, I wanted to extend my stay by two days.But then I have to start shooting for my latest serial 'Zindagi Ek Bhanwar' in Mumbai, so again I have to go back in a day's time without exploring much of the place.I wish I could stay here longer," said the actor, who has been part of iconic films like 'Gharounda', 'Chitchor' , 'Saawan Ko Aane Do' and more.

Zarina also disclosed how she missed staying in Lucknow as she was supposed to be part of Muzaffar Ali's Jaanisaar . “My whole family had to go out of India, uss wajah se main yeh movie nahi kar paayi. I was to play the character of a revolutionary courtesan in the film, which Bina Kak essayed later. I have known Muzaffarji for a very long time. 25 years ago I did a telefilm with him ­ Simal Ka Darakht. Unki Urdu itni achchi hai ki if you sit with him, you just want him to speak," said Wahab.
