BHOPAL: Government railway police (GRP) on Sunday detained three ticket examiners who were on duty on Malwa Express train at the time when the 29-year-old girl from Delhi, was allegedly thrown off from moving train, 25 km from Bina railway station in Sagar district.
They are being questioned for having allowed unauthorized people into reserved compartments but are also being shown pictures of suspects for identification.
Meanwhile, doctors have not noticed any significant improvement in the condition of the victim, who sunk into coma two days ago.
Doctors said the girl suffered multiple injuries on the skull and abdomen. Swelling in her brain has subsided, said doctors. She was on way to Ujjain from Delhi to offer prayers at the Mahakal temple, where her parents were already present.
Madhya Pradesh police, which had released a sketch of one of the two suspects and declared a bounty of Rs 10,000 for their arrest, are still clueless. The woman was pushed off the running train after an alleged robbery attempt. No witnesses have turned up before the police.
