When Vijay and I meet, we indulge in gossip: Vikram

There was much camaraderie at a recent audio launch in the city, where AR Rahman, Vijay and Vikram were the special guests at the invitation of director Shankar. On the occasion, AR Rahman named Shankar as his friend and Shankar, in turn, reciprocating the gesture spoke highly of Rahman. He said, ���Despite being busy with several projects including the scores of my own film I, Rajini���s film and the one with Majid Majidi in addition to several other projects, Rahman has come to the launch, honouring his friendship with me.���
Also present at the function were actors Vijay and Vikram, who revealed that they were in fact, very good friends off screen.While Vijay said that the two were friends who caught up often with their families, Vikram for his part went on to say that he was a huge fan of Vijay.
���Yes, both our families are close. We visit each other and when we do meet, we don���t meet as actors, but discuss several other things as friends. We indulge in gossip,��� smiled Vikram adding, ���Actually, I gossip and he keeps listening to me with a smile. I am a huge fan of Vijay. In fact, I love his body of work ��� especially his songs. Whenever I go to a party, I ask for his songs to be played rather than mine.���
