Namo Boothaatma continues the trend of horror comedies
A new genre seems to be growing to become the hot favourite of the South Indian audience —the horror comedy. Joining the list of films in this genre is the Komal-starrer Namo Boothaatma, a remake of this year’s Tamil hit Yaamirukka Bayamey, which itself is speculated to be a remake of a Korean film — The Quiet Family. Incidentally, the horror comedy is a popular genre in Korea, which has inspired many young Indian filmmakers now.
