PC holds massive road show in Rafiabad

BARAMULLA, Nov 23: There is a need of change if we need to go ahead with the development of Jammu & Kashmir. This was stated by Khurshid Ahmad Khan, senior leader, Jammu and Kashmir People’s conference and the contesting candidate from Rafiabad, while holding a massive road show which started from Janbazpora and via,Chakla, Ladoora, Tragpora, Rohama, Shitloora, Braman, Kutro Naribal, Shalkot, Balhama, Panzala, Bahrampora, Chatloora, Achabal and ended at Watergam.
Khurshid Ahmad Khan was greeted by huge crowds all along the way, which include men, women and children from every nook and corner of Rafiabad and people chanted slogans in favor of People’s Conference, Sajad Gani Lone and Khurshid Ahmad Khan. Khan addressed massive crowds at Rohama chowk and Watergam. Speaking on the occasion Khan said, “Jammu and Kashmir will continue to run around the circles if we don’t change the traditional politicians here. For the sake of development, eradication of corruption and welfare of the people, change is must.”
About  Rohama water supply scheme, he said that for the sake of embezzlement of funds the origin of the scheme was shifted from Kokerwan to Saterwan which ultimately lead to the failure of the scheme.
Khan further said, “It was unfortunate that for vote bank politics traditional politicians tried to divide people on the basis of administrative units. People should be vigilant of these gimmicks and stand united for the overall development of the area.”
