The Fujairah Public Prosecution has referred the case of four teenagers who allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old Emirati boy at a marriage ceremony in Al Badya locality on November 6 to court on charges of attempted murder.

The potentially fatal stabbing was reportedly the result of an altercation between the victim A.A.H. and the four teenagers. The victim was first assaulted and then stabbed with a sharp bladed object following which the former collapsed on the ground much to the shock of the wedding guests.

The police tracked and arrested the suspects in record time and also seized the weapon used in the commission of the crime.

All four accused are Emiratis and are aged between 16 and 17 years.

The police recovered two weapons — a cleaver and a dagger — from the car of one of the suspects.
