LUCKNOW: Two youths were caught for writing the
exam on behalf of a younger sibling and friend during the railway
group D recruitment test in Naka area.
As many as 14 cases of impersonation in exams have been reported in the last three and half months and most of the
impostors hailed from Bihar. According to
Naka station officer Vijay Prakash Singh, “Rakesh Kumar and Kumar Bharti were caught by invigilators when they found details and photo of the applicant not matching the person writing the exam on Sunday morning.”
B Sc graduate Rakesh said “I was appearing on behalf of my close friend Sujit Kumar, while Kumar Bharti was writing in place of my younger brother Chandan Kumar Yadav who were not sure to clear the
recruitment exam.”
While Kumar Bharti hailing from Madubhani district of Bihard claimed, “I was paid to write exam in place of Chandan Yadav.”
FIR was registered against both the accused under IPC section 419 (cheating by impersonation) and 420(Cheating).
