Benedict Cumberbatch lends his voice for Penguins Of Madagascar
Benedict Cumberbatch has joined the voice cast of the spy thriller Penguins Of Madagascar, which is a spin-off of the Madagascar film series. The actor has lent his voice to Agent Classified — a grey wolf and team leader of the undercover organisation North Wind — who helps the penguins Skipper, Rico, Private and Kowalski.
Interestingly, Cumberbatch was offered the film almost three years ago, well before he became a household name with his show, Sherlock Holmes.
He says, “The project seemed appealing. The characters were richly comic and Agent Classified sounded intriguing as a spoof of Bond. I thought it would be a fun experience.”
