Government Takes Valuable Measures for Non-Oil Exports Development

YASUJ, Kohkiluyeh-Boyer Ahmad Pro. (IRNA) – Chairman of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Gholamhossein Shafeie said one of the main concerns of the 11th government has been development of non-oil exports, adding that significant measures have been taken in this regard.
Speaking at a gathering here on Saturday afternoon, Shafeie referred to exports awards and payment of low-interest financial facilities to exporters and producers as one of the government’s key measures in this regard.
He said the required grounds have been prepared at outstanding level by the 11th government for resolving the prevailing problems on the way of development of non-oil exports especially in less developed provinces and necessary supports have been extended in this field.
Shafeie said that marketing methods and determining target markets for introducing and selling products of Kohkiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad Province have been ignored by provincial executive officials.
He announced that Iran’s Chamber of Commerce is ready to maintain the necessary prerequisites for removing this basic problem in Kohkiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad.
The official stressed that the chamber will not hesitate rendering any assistance for further boom of non-oil exports in the province and removal of bottlenecks in this regard.
Meanwhile, Governor General of Kohkiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad Seyed Musa Khademi said that efforts for removing non-oil exports problems of the province should first be made within the province.
He said despite outstanding measures that have been taken so far for the attraction of domestic and foreign investors in Kohkiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad Province and presentation of its economic capabilities however more efforts need to be made in this connection.
Also speaking at the event, Chairman of the Provincial Chamber Jabbar Kiyani said although the province enjoys outstanding capacities and capabilities in different economic fields, the volume of its non-oil exports is much less than other provinces.
He said promotion of non-oil exports of Kohkiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad requires special outlook of the government to the products of this province, adding that the unorganized condition of non-oil exports can be regulated through formulation of proper planning as well as assistance of public and private sectors.
