Each bride in this mass wedding in Surat will get dustbin and toilet(if there’s no toilet at home) in gift.

On 1st December, 170 couples will marry at one place in mass wedding function organized by Aahir community at TP 19 Parvat Patiya.

Chief Minister Anandiben Patel will grace the function with state BJP president RC Faldu, Parliamentary Secretary Vasan Ahir and member of parliament Poonam Madam.

Awareness programme on save the girl child, freedom from intoxicants, girl child education, cleanliness drive,blood donation camp will be organized side-by-side during the event.

The girls will be gifted dustbins. Not just this, but if in any case there’s no toilet at home, the community leaders will sponsor construction of toilet as a gift.
