3 bodies found after fire destroys house in Aomori

Three bodies were found in the ruins of a house destroyed by fire Saturday night in Takko, Aomori Prefecture, police said Sunday.

According to police, the three victims were identified as Naomasa Tada, 62, his younger brother Ryuiji, 55, and their mother Chiyoko, 88, who had lost the use of her legs.

NTV reported that the fire broke out at around 9 p.m. Saturday, destroying the wooden two-story house.

Firefighters said they have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
