24 CCTV cameras, 2 monitoring rooms and 2200 security officers have been arranged to ensure security

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold a public gathering at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala today (Sunday).

40 feet wide and 16 feet high stage has been prepared for the speeches of party leaders and Chief of PTI Imran Khan whereas two separate stages have also been arranged for PTI officials and media.

A total of as many as 20,000 chairs have been placed at the venue for the participants of the rally.

Police have made fool proof security arrangements whereas 24 CCTV cameras along with two monitoring rooms would record the activities of the rally. Eight gates would be used as entering points by participants.

About 2200 policemen have been deployed by the provincial government to ensure security at the venue.

PTI chief Imran Khan and other party leaders are scheduled to address the gathering.

However, in order to make rally peaceful, Gujranwala police have decided to detain five officials of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) including Joint Secretary of Youth Wing Punjab Shoaib Butt and City President Asif Butt.
