A senior minister in the state government said, “Basically, RSS and BJP leaders regularly hold discussions. Since the government formation, there has been no interaction even though individuals may have visited the RSS headquarters.”

Fadnavis has often maintained that RSS never interferes with the functioning of the government, but has conceded that RSS has always been a power house from where he (BJP leaders) draw their inspiration and strength and are guided on issues related to nationalism.
