Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma come clean on relationship

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma have been in the news not just for their work but also for their alleged love affair.

The duo has been rumoured to be dating for a while, and though neither has come out in the open to accept it, they haven't denied their relationship either.

But in the last couple of days things have changed, without going overboard they have spilled the beans.

It is nice to see Anushka and Virat talk about their relationship without veiled inhibition (take note Ranbir and Katrina).

In separate interviews, Anushka and Virat made strong points about their state of 'affair'.

Anushka said, "I feel the minute we start talking about our private lives, all focus just shifts there. Then I'll also have to answer questions like what are you doing on Valentine's Day? What was your birthday gift? I can't do that. Like I said, it's all in the open. Whether I go for a dinner or to watch a match, everybody can see it. But if people still need a verbal confirmation, I am not giving it. But really, how louder can I get?"

We like how she's opened up and admitted to the relationship without actually saying anything.

Virat toed the line and gave a similar (almost rehearsed) statement.

In an interaction during the launch of his fashion line, Virat spoke about Anushka and made an indirect admission, here's what he said.

"It is out in the open. We are not hiding anything, we are not trying to hide anything. I don't want to hide anything. But if you get repeatedly asked on the same thing and if it is made a matter of debate then both the individuals don't feel it is right," he said.

Kohli said it was already obvious that he and Anushka were in a relationship and people should not be curious about them anymore.

"If you are seen together somewhere and still people ask 'is it confirmed?', then it is a matter of common sense. If you know then why ask the same question, that is our basic logic behind it. It is not something wrong apparently for people that we are doing.

"We will not personally like to speak about it because it is something very personal for us and that should be respected by the media and everyone else as well," Kohli said.

Message received, loud and clear!
