London  - The 45-year-old has taken over at the helm of the BBC show this season but says she gets weepy when she remembers their pre-recording rituals. And she denied that she had been forced to take responsibility for listening to directions from the production team while Sir Bruce was still around. She told the Daily Mail’s Weekend supplement: “It was never a responsibility. It was a privilege.  “I mean, just to stand by that man, it was an honour. He’s a legend. I learned so much from him.  “He was on set this week (to film a Children In Need special) and it was a joy to have him back.”
