BHOPAL: After a phone call from AICC headquarters in Delhi, state Congress vice-president Manak Agarwal took back his resignation letter and returned to Pradesh Congress Committee. Agarwal had resigned from the post of state Congress vice-president on November 12 after his supporters were denied tickets in the approaching urban civic body polls from Hoshangabad and Itarsi.
While New Delhi assured him that his grievances will be addressed, Agarwal was also called to the state PCC by leader of opposition Satyadev Katare on Friday. After speaking to Katare, the peeved leader calmed down. He joined back on Saturday morning.
While Agarwal has been called back and assured a patient hearing - the other two leaders, Dr Govind Singh and Prem Chand Guddu, who also resigned, have not heard from the central or state leadership.
