MUMBAI: The body of an unidentified girl aged around 15, was found lying in a pool of blood in the compound of the 11-storey Mahavir Tower in Mulund (West) late on Saturday. She possibly landed there from the terrace of the building, said the police.
Scribbled on her hand were the words ‘I hate’ followed by an incomplete phone number. The scribbling on the girl’s hand has led the police to believe that it could be a case of suicide.

A police officer said it could be a case of unrequited love or a failed affair.
An accidental death report has been registered at Mulund police station.
Senior inspector of Mulund police station Rajaram Wanmane said nobody from of the building knows the girl. “She seems to be an outsider who walked in with the intention to end her life,” he said.
