PAGASA: Rain over east Visayas, north Luzon

The Samar provinces will be cloudy with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms due to a tail-end of a cold front, weather service PAGASA's Sunday forecast said.

The Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos Region will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated light rains, this time due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Winds will be moderate to strong from the northeast over northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate seas. — Joel Locsin/DVM, GMA News
