From presenting stand-up comedy to Bollywood dance acts, students at KC College upped the ante at the Clean and Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face 2014 contest
A tsunami of talent swept away celebrity judge Freddy Daruwala as students of KC College auditioned for the Clean and Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face 2014 contest. From Bollywood dance acts to musical performances, these students knew how to own the stage. While Shivani Prithiani performed to a medley of Madhuri Dixit tracks, Shilpa Subramani, a trained student of carnatic music, impressed Freddy with her rendition of Kabhi Kabhi.
The boys too were not far behind as Mohammed Roheb Akhtar enthralled the audience with his singing skills, as did Mustafa, after whose thunderous performance the audience kept demanding an encore. After the gruelling talent round, Yohan Tengra was picked the winner along with Aayushi Kalkar. Meanwhile, Annie Oswal and Utkarsh Kohli were picked the first runners-up. There was a tie for the second runners-up position, with Madiha Shaikh and Sharanya Shastri being chosen from the girls’ side and Ayaan Ansari from the boys’ side.
