Twins born on a bus
A woman has given birth to twin boys on a bus at Raiganj Upazila in Sirajganj.

“Shahina Akhter was heading home to Rangpur on a SM Elegance bus,” said father of the twins Khatibar Rahman Bhutto. “She gave birth on the way.”
The 30-year old went into labour and the boys were born outside Shikdar Filling Station at Chandaikona on Dhaka-Bogra Highway.
The news spread quickly and people soon gathered there to see the twins born on a bus.
The curious onlookers also named the two after two calamitous storms - ‘Sidor’ and ‘Hudhud’.
The mother and the newborns were taken to Chandaikona hospital with the help of the workers of the bus.
The bus owner after hearing the news distributed sweets among doctors, nurses, reporters at the hospital.
Dr Kishor Kumar Roy said the mother and her two new boys were doing well.
