CCTV catches gunmen killing real estate manager in Quezon City

A visit to his parents last Tuesday was fatal for a real estate manager who was gunned down by two men after he parked his car in Quezon City last Tuesday.

Closed-circuit television footage caught the crime at about 7 p.m. of Nov. 18 at Barangay Santolan, GMA News' Vonne Aquino reported on GMA News TV's "Balitanghali Weekend" Saturday

Footage from a CCTV camera showed victim Alejandro Hilario had just parked his car and appeared to be arranging some things in the car when one of the suspects approached and shot him.

The second suspect then got into the car and the two sped off. Before they escaped, one of the assailants shot Hilario again.

Footage from another CCTV camera showed one of the suspects wearing a hooded jacket and the other carrying a backpack. It also showed people in the neighborhood running from the scene of the crime.

Hilario was rushed to a hospital but died from gunshot wounds to the head and arms.

One of the victim's siblings said the incident could have been more than a robbery.

"(Sa galaw ng suspek), parang meron pang ibang motibo na lumalabas," said the sibling, who added Hilario had no known enemies.

"We're hoping na makuha namin ang hustisya, malaman namin sino talaga pinaka-salarin sa pangyayaring ito," the sibling said. — Joel Locsin/JDS, GMA News
