RAJOURI, Nov 21: Two multi-national companies have selected 13 Engineering students of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University for jobs in various areas of Northern India against handsome salary package.
The appointment orders to these young Engineering students were distributed by Vice Chancellor Prof Irshad A Hamal in presence of Registrar Mohammad Rashid Chowdhary, Dean Prof AK Koul, Special Secretary to VC Suneet Gupta and Placement Officer Dr Sameer Raina.
The students of B-Tech viz Aamin Choudhary, Madni Mohammad Faizan, Shaivya Manhas, Syed Sajid Rizvi, Nishant Verma, Anam Mukhtar, Karan Sapolia, Reenu Dutta, Tayiba Bazaz, Waleed Bin Owais, Danish Manhas, Burhan Qureshi and Mehak Farooq Zakki received the letters for their appointments as Data Recovery Associates in two international companies viz Tosha International and Stellar.
It is pertinent to mention here that HR representatives of these companies held placement drive in various Universities including BGSB University recently where students appeared in three-stage tests following which 13 final year students of B-Tech were selected for jobs in these prestigious companies.
Vice Chancellor on the occasion appreciated Placement unit of the University and passed on directions to manage Group Discussions between students in order to enhance communication skills and knowledge among them so that they can compete in much better way in future. He also called upon other national and international companies to come and test their students who are capable enough to make their place in the national arena because the University is imparting quality education and training to them.
