Reader Photo: Scrappy newspaper rack
His eye caught by the doodles, Edward Conde photographed a newspaper rack on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills on Oct. 30. Drawing his inspiration from a couple of old-school photographers he’s been reading about, Conde has been photographing the mundane.
“I am currently in the mindframe of shooting the obvious,” he said. “The stuff that most people just walk by or don’t even notice anymore because it’s the norm.”
Conde used a 1960s Yashica Electro 35 GS camera with Fujicolor C200 film.
