Final order on funds likely on Tuesday

NASHIK: The final order by the high court over the Godavari river pollution and Kumbh funds is likely to be delivered on Tuesday, November 25.
NGO Godavari Gatarikaran Virodhi Manch has filed PIL against the government officials on the river pollution. During the hearing held on Friday before the HC’s divisional bench comprising justices Abhay Oak and Girish Kulkarni, who heard arguments of the state and central governments over Kumbh funds and Godavari pollution.The final order both the issues is likely to be delivered on Tuesday.
The NGO had filed PIL with the HC against NMC, the civic chief, the regional officer of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, the state and the Centre for failing to keep the river clean.
