Plaint against playschool

Parents of a girl enrolled at a playschool in Vijaya Bank Layout have lodged a non-cognisable complaint against school management for allegedly misbehaving with them when they went to raise an issue faced by their daughter.

In the complaint filed with the Mico Layout police, Anindya Banerjee, father of the three-year-old girl, said the playschool’s centre head pushed his wife and abused her. He said the centre head also tried to hit him. “My child had suffered a mosquito bite and I had written to the playschool to be more cautious. They called us for a meeting and engaged in a verbal and physical argument with us,” Mr. Banerjee said.

The management, however, has denied this. The management said the parents were trying to settle scores by filing a “false” complaint after they terminated the services of the girl’s mother who was a teacher in the playschool.
