CHANDIGARH: The ongoing National Crafts Mela at Kalagram has been attracting many food-lovers to its variety of food-stalls, installed there to satisfy the different tastes of the hundreds of visitors. The large food court at Kalagram has a massive menu to offer to the foodies. Right from North India to South India , the special efforts have been made by the organisers to have different state food-stalls here.

Rajasthan state has opened an 'Rajasthani' resturant, a special food stall offering Rajasthani Thali, Bajre ki roti, Kathi gatta, mawa kachori, Dal batti churma, churma ladoo, saink kervi ki sabzi, pethe ki sabzi with bajre ki roti. According to incharge of the stall, "the response in the Mela has been tremendous. We are cooking the food here itself and serving it hot to food--lovers."
Citco da Vehra is offering its traditional Saag and Makki Ki roti, Amritsari Kulche, Channa Bhatura, Gur Ka halwa, Chaat Papri, Gol gappe, Allo tikki, Rajma Chawal, Tilla Kulfi, Jalebi and Chatti di Lassi and much more.
Visitors have also liked the Delhi Rasoi, a stall put--up by famous chefs from Chandni Chowk. The visitors can relish delights of Chandni Chowki like Dahi Bhalla, aalo tikki, paneer Chilla, Veg kathi kabab, rumali roti, bhelpuri and chhole bhature. To enjoy the Punjabi food, one can visit stall put up by famous chefs from Amritsar, offering nutri kulcha, Amritsari naan , khatte ladoo, rajma chole, curry and chawal.
Besides this, Haryana food stall is offering Bajra ke roti, chhaj, Butter milk, curry Dal and jaleba. SouthIndians food lovers can relish Hyderabad masala dosa, mix veg uthapam, idli and dahi vada. Bengali food stall is offering Chicken khasa, mutton khasa, fish curry, Bengali rasgulla and Machchi bhaat. Food lovers are thronging at Gujarati food stall offering kathia vadi thali, thandvi, dhokla and all time famous thepla, whereas hyderabadi stall Hyderabdi Biryani, Chicken,mutton, rumali roti, plain dosa, Masala dosa and Idli vada.

Popularly known for its authentic spices, chefs from Kashmir has brought an array of variety of kashmiri food: Kahwa, gushtawa, Rishta, tampak maach, mutton, rogan josh, chicken curry.This time also, organisers have roped in Gohana's special Jalebi on popular demand. One piece of this Jalebiweighs 250gms and is prepared in pure desi ghee.
Other attractions at the fair include live demonstration of handloom weaving, clay pottery, puppet show, live sketching and many more.
